Code Orange Christmas

Last night we began our Christmas worship experiences.  The first 2 of 30! 

We are calling it Code Orange Christmas.  Code orange means there is a heightened since of urgency.  We are using it to say that God has rescued us in our most desperate need. 

The worship experience was amazing.  I don't want to spoil anything, so I'll just say, the gospel is presented in a powerful, life changing and creative way.

I hope you will be a bringer not just a consumer this Christmas no matter where you live.  People's hearts are so open to the gospel at Christmas time.  I am praying for each and every person who will be bringing their friends and family members to church over the next several days.

Hi sweet Pumpkin! Well, it felt odd not creating the mad dash to head to church yesterday...so I was pleased to watch the extended version of PS's favorite 2011 moments! Some really stuck out to me.... the part where he said there was a guy that said, "Rapid growth couldn't be of God" I felt this impression this morning during my oddly early rising....don't ask... I have issues! Evlevation is contagious right? When there is a contagious issue going on in a person... they test, and give it some time to see if "something grows" and if it does... the contagious is proven. I looked at that statement as not a negative, but a positive... yes... rapid growth has happened, but only as proof that this movement is taking off as God intended not as proof that it "can't be God" Just an impression I wanted to share with you both. Elevation has changed us forever! Thank you!

I remember when Elevation first started...I was a server at Bonefish Grille in Matthews and waited on a campus pastor & his wife who were having desert to try to get her to go into labor. I told him I was looking for a new church and he gave me his card...I found it a few years later cleaning out my car and e-mailed him just to say hello, see how Elevation was growing, and to make sure they had their baby (I'm thinking it was a boy...). Tonight was the first time I've visted Elevation (sadly..) and I LOVED it! Jesus was right there with us, there's no doubt. I love what you guys are doing for Charlotte! Thanks for stepping out on faith all of those years ago and answering His call!

I am new to the area and don't know many people but I can honestly say if feels so good to bring the people I do know! Last night was outstanding. I can't wait for the 6 non-believers I am bringing on Saturday to hear this message. It is amazing. I am also praying desperately for my husband who is going tomorrow night. Praying that his heart would be FULLY open and that his relationship with the Lord can be completely restored and his life can do a 180. This powerful message can definitely be used to perform miracles. Be a bringer!
