November 09, 2011

November is suddenly upon me.  I have no idea where October went.  This time of year I find myself feeling extra thankful.  I thought I might take one day each week leading up to Thanksgiving to express my thankfulness and allow you to express yours too.

Today I am thankful for my beautiful baby girl, Abbey.  She is truly the best baby on the planet.  She has cut 3 teeth without missing a wink of sleep at night.  I am so blessed.  And not just because God gave me a baby girl when I had two boys, but because God gave me the easiest baby ever in the midst of a very busy season for our family.  Abbey is the most amazing blessing to our family.

So, I would love to hear from you, what are you thankful for today?

PS I am quite proud of myself for taking this picture while wearing Abbey in my sling :)

I'm thankful that no matter how many things I have lost, God never fails to tell to my heart that He has something greater for me. :)

I am thankful for all the Elevators in the groups I finally chose to serve. I am thankful for their strong and meaningful love and hugs during a personal struggle. As always, I am thankful for my children. I am thankful for a church that fills me with energy. Without this walk, I would be so profoundly lost.

I am so very thankful for a husband who is a risk taker and a visionary. Thankful that He leads our home. He is an amazing daddy to our twin baby girls! Also, thankful for you and Pastor Steven. You two have made us ask God for the Sun to Stand Still. We are planning to plant a church next year!!!

I am thankful for my job, and for my amazing daughter Courtney. I am thankful for my life, and my church! I am thankful for the love in my heart, and how God keeps blessing it to give me more. I am so thankful to know the Lord, and to see his plan for my life. Thankful for everything Holly!

Full nets. :-)

I am thankful for my growing relationship with Jesus and all of the blessing that have been placed in my life, especially my two little men, Joey and Nicky!

You dont know me, but I live in Burlington NC. I am thankful for great teachers like your husband Steve, and Clayton King. People who lead in generosity, and spur us to be more generous. I watched an old sermon from the archive.. In it Clayton King, talked about greed, and then related to the congregation that your husband was a generous man. The thing is, Elevation is generous to people you don't even know. I requested to buy a sermon series and you gave it to me... So today I am thankful for men of God who spur us on to be more like Christ.

I'm so thankful for the constant support of my friends and family. They have made the hard times so much easier and the easy times so much more joyful. God has truly blessed me in this area of my life!

was going to say....that is a very creative shot! :)

and, I'm thankful for so many things...one of them is that my family is healthy and able!

have a great day, holly. :)

Love the pic! :)

I'm thankful for my son Noah and his beautiful smile. I'm thankful to know an amazing God who comforts and encourages and speaks to me in the most random of places. I'm thankful for a 60 degree day in Upstate NY in the middle of November. I'm thankful for all the amazing women that God has brought into my life - even if only through blogs like yours - each one has taught me something about life, love, children, being a mom and being myself.

Thank you! Thank you God :)

Good job on the picture! That is great :)

I am thankful for a loving and incredibly handsome husband!

That pic rocks! I am thankful for a new perspective. I have been feeling so overwhelmed lately; your husband's recent blog post about 'breaking nets' made me realize it is an abundance of blessings that is causing my nets to burst at their seams. Sometimes you can get so caught up in worrying about the net itself, you get all snared and tangled up :)

I am thankful for my son Chayce Jeffrey he has brought joy unspeakable to my life! I can't say he was the easiest baby but he sure is a happy little man :) He is 17 months old and full of life! I am a single mom and amongst all of the struggles that come with being a single parent I have learned love unconditional like our father in heaven has for us. There is no love like the love you have for your children and I thank God everyday for blessing me with a happy and healthy piece of heaven on earth!

I am thankful for children's ministry. God using me to train up the next generation is a blessing and an honor that never gets old for me.
