Today is the birthday of a woman who is very special to me. Without her, my life would not be what it is today. She is the mother of my husband, the grandmother of my children, and my mother-in-law.
On the day that my husband and I were married, she promised to treat me like her own daughter. She has kept that promise. She is more than a mother-in-law to me. I am proud to call her one of my closest friends.
She is the best grandma to my children. You will frequently find her on the floor playing with them and singing with them. I wish she lived closer. I aspire to be like her and to raise boys like she raised.
Happy Birthday Faith Furtick. Thanks for making my dreams come true.
Happy Birthday Faith Furtick! I love hearing how much of in influence you are in the lives of the ones you love. You do well by the Lord, and we do well in knowing you. Thank you for who you are and all you do!! Abundant blessings to you and for your husband now. It honors me and humbles me to learn more about the Furtick Family. Enjoy this time!!

Happy Birthday to Mrs. Furtick!
oh, I love, love, love such positive stories about mother in-laws! (I never realized how much bad press they got until someone reminded me after I giggled at a joke, that if you have kids, you will eventually-most likely be a mother in-law. gulp!)
I was reading Lysa Terkeurst blog today, I am taking her bible study "made to crave" this summer. I was surprised that she wrote about you and your hubby! I did not know that she went to your church! Small world! I just felt like I knew you all when she wrote about you. The blog world makes the world seems like a much smaller, cozier place.

What a sweet, sweet post! I too am blessed with a wonderful mother-in-law...the day my husband and I married she gave me a locket with a note inside that said, "today my son's heart is forever in your hands"! Loved it!
We've been married 18 yrs this week and she has never interfered in our marriage! I tell her often that I hope to be as good as mother-in-law as she has been to me! :-)
We are very lucky gals...most people do not have great relationships with their mother-in-laws!
Happy Birthday to Mrs. Furtick!

Thank you for this wonderful post Holly! Your words are such encouragement for everyone and very timely for me. See, this week I removed everything from my office- furniture, supplies & kid's stuff in order to make it into a guest room for my sons to bring home their girlfriends. Big transition from my space to a potential daughter-in-law space! I needed to hear a woman say that she actually likes her mother-in-law so thank you again and now, I'll get back to fixing my new guest room with an inspired heart.
