We wrapped up our series, Honorology, this weekend with a bang! If last week's message was inspirational, this week's was practical.
There is no one better to teach on how to practically honor others than my husband. He truly seeks to honor every person God places in his life.
The second point was my favorite. He said, "if you want to honor someone, you have to know their honor code, how they receive honor." Person to person, we all receive honor differently like we each receive love differently. Here are a few different ways you can give honor...
-stand at attention (maybe not physically, but sometimes simply giving your full attention)
-bow in respect (differing your own preference to the other person)
-serve with passion
-give with thoughtfulness
-speak with affection
-look past offenses
-believe the best
Honor and love go hand in hand. Romans 12:9-10 says, "Love must be sincere. Hate what is evil; cling to what is good. Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves."
You can watch the message at The Elevation Experience and in our archives.
God blesses those who 'seek' Him, He doubles that blessings for those who are 'obedient' to Him. But this 'Honor and Love' driven way of life will absolutely catapult you to another level of living within our Fathers graces. It's truly the epitome of spiritual awaking and momentum swing to kicking doors open so He can show and grow our love. It's like Pastor Perry Noble describes, God will put the super in your natural, the super natural passion of loving, accepting, and serving all. Luv you Miss Holly!!! Luv you Pastor F!!! Thank you - thank you - thank you - thank you!!!
