This is How We Change the World

This weekend we premiered the documentary of the story of Elevation Church, This is How We Change the World.  I am sitting here unable to think of the words to describe what our team put together.  Unbelievable.  I laughed, I cried, I clapped, I cheered.  Did I really get to be a part of all of that?

Grab yourself a drink and settle in, you're gonna love it.  You can watch it all week at the Elevation Experience

Here's a little clip to get you hooked...

Thanks for sharing your thoughts on this blog. I'm a pastor's wife in Freiburg, Germany. We just started our church in October with 104 people on our first Sunday. My husband trained with the ARC guys and we've seen 10 people give their hearts to Christ for the first time! (this is amazing in Germany!)
Anyway, we are doing an Easter egg hunt and carnival as an outreach this April. A friend of ours said that you did and egg hunt and it was amazing. No one has done this here before...mainly because they don't have plastic Easter eggs that open up. Is this correct video that shows about the egg hunt? Where can I find the rest of the video? Any tips would be helpful!

Wow! What a moving documentary! Throughout the video, I laughed, cried and praised God for this awesome story. God has definitely blessed Matthews, NC. I continue to pray for Elevation's growth as this ministry has been such a vitural blessing for me personally in Eastern NC. Thanks for all yall do.

I was just able to sit down and watch the Elevation documentary today. Incredible! Love hearing your story! We are part of a multi-site church in Kansas and my husband and I moved to a new city a year ago to plant a new location. Watching this has been a good reminder for me to pray BIG. It's so easy to grow weary... this was encouraging.

Also... just got back from C3 last night and loved hearing Pastor Steven! Praying for you as you are in the last weeks of your pregnancy! Many blessings to your family!

I've been following your blog for awhile now and enjoy reading your thoughts as a wife and mother. My husband was at Elevation Church in 2009 and was able to witness what God is doing there! Last night I watched the documentary. Unbelievable. God will continue to do great things through you and your team. Your faith and vision inspires us. Thank you for sharing.

Just watched the Elevation Experience. Awesome to see what God is doing in the United States. Thank you all for setting such an awesome example.
God bless you and yours.

We watcht it in Switzerland!!!!Its amazing!!!

I just finished the video . . . what a blessing and inspiration! I cannot wait to come this Sunday to a worship experience - and I'm driving all the way from Winston-Salem just to be part of your church. What you are doing at Elevation, or, what GOD is doing THROUGH Elevation, is truly like a modern-day Acts church. It is incredible!

I am blown away! God is so moving in your church. It takes a strong woman to stand behind her husband no matter the vision. Praise God you were his encourager! I agree with the above comment as well. It's awesome to see the same families who started it still going strong.
Loved the Sun Stand Still book as well! May God continue to bless Elevation!

I am so grateful to have found Elevation. My only regret, is not discovering you sooner. I can't wait to get to church on Saturday. I would come EVERY day if I could. Praise the Lord for the Furticks and their incredible courage to follow God.

I live in Scotland UK. I watched the Elevation Documentary this afternoon and just want to say that It's amazing what God has done, is doing, can do, and will do. Loved every minute of it.
Your Husband is so inspiring.

God bless you all.

I so enjoyed watching the documentary. My husband and I started a church 6 years ago and currently have our eyes on a piece of land so that we can expand. So I was inspired by your story of praying over the property everytime we drive by it which is quite frequently. So last night after our family valentine dinner, we stopped by the land and walked it and prayed and sang "we are standing on holy ground" with our 6 year old twins and 3 year old, Abbey. So exciting! Blessings to you, your family and your ministry!

Fabulous! I remember SO many things...we were one of the Egg Drop families... We came out for Sun Stand Still...so many things were going on... 2 1/2 years later...I was sitting in the Lake Park offices, with a complimentary Diet Coke, as I waited to talk Larry...God had done so much, shown so much and I still have my "snot kleenex" stuffed in my diet coke can....sitting in the china hutch! I will take it everywhere I go...a symbol of love, forgiveness and promise.

The movie was amazing. I can't wait to own it!!!

I cried, laughed, cried some more. I feel extremely blessed to be part of Elevation.

My favorite "character" in the movie was your dad!!! He cracked me up...as soon as I saw Colleen she said the same thing.

I live in New York but I follow your blog Holly, as well as Pastor Steven's blog and I have listened to a few of his sermons and I have to say I have been blessed by it all. I watched the documentary this morning and it is amazing how God has multiplied blessings to Elevation Church and I am sure to your lives as well. To hear the voice of God and move on that and start a church and believe it will be a megachurch is such awesome faith! Although it was not easy it is an amazing story of God's faithfulness. It was also great to see the seven families who were the "original" congregation. God is amazing! Thanks for sharing the documentary.

It was beyond amazing! All I can say is thank you to Pastor Steven, you, and all of the core team members for obeying God and being His faithful servants. Elevation Church has been such a blessing to me and my husband and we're so thankful to be a part of this wonderful and amazing movement of God!

VERY thankful for this film... I grew up 30 minutes from Shelby... I ate at many of the mi pueblito restaurants in the area... I even attended C3 2005 with you guys and had the exact same "Oh Wow" experience when they broke out in U2's vertigo.

Very thankful for Pastor Steven's ministry... Even though I live 4 hours away in Greenville, NC. I value you guy's and appreciate how you have impacted our entire state!

I have been watching Pastor Steven's tweets this weekend while it has been showing at Elevation. You can just see him beam through his words on the screen. I cannot wait to see all of it today. May God continue to bless and enlarge Elevation!

Never in my life have I been so proud to be a part of something. The faith, perserverance and clear anointing from God are astounding. Thank you for bringing your vision to life and blessing us all with the greatest movement of God we will ever experience. Honored to be Elevators!
