Its a video camera the size of a cell phone. It holds 60 minutes of footage and has 2 hours of battery life.
When you are ready to upload your videos to your computer, you won't need any external wires or software. Its all in the device.
The software is easy to navigate. You can edit your videos, upload them to the web easily or email them to others. And the video is really good quality (good enough to project on our huge screens at church- this is what I shot Elijah on for the video they played this past Sunday).
There are a very limited amount of buttons and features on the device so it is not confusing to use. Ours even has a small zoom.
They make one version that is only $69 at Amazon.com.
This would make a great Mother's day gift (hint, hint to you men).
Later this week I will post a few shots I captured of my boys.
Got the same camera...in love with it! I have a tripod for it as well....love it...good camera for a little guy!

I have had my FLip for over a year. I have taken so many more hours of video in the last year than I ever did before. The picture quality is not great if you zoom or are recording something like a graduation or play. To get moments of the kids playing, it is WONDERFUL!!!!!!!! It may not be movie quality but atleast I have the moment captured, because how many things did I miss because the nice video camera was not charged:(. The flip runs on 2 AA batteries so I keep them in my purse with the video camera. It also has an underwater case that you can purchase from the website. I LOVE it too. We have video of snow tubing, swimming in the ocean, diving off the diving board at the pool, etc. I can not say enough good things about it and it cost around 100-150 dollars so well worth it.
