I just want to say that a man must have invented daylight savings. Fall back, great idea! Yeah all the men and those with out children get an extra hour of sleep. Its like a a cruel joke played on all the mothers of young children.
Yesterday Elijah was up at six and Graham a little before 7. Today, they were both up around 7. Normally I am very happy if my kids sleep past 7 but the past few weeks they had been sleeping until almost 8!! Oh well, I guess I will just be grateful that they were not both up before 7 today.
Monday Afternoon Commentary coming later this afternoon, check back, I will be posting about how we budget.
Sorry to say that it doesn't get any better when they go to school. My son is in high school so we're up at 5:45 am in order to leave at 6:30 for him to get to school... who thought that 7:15 was a good idea for H.S. students to start learning??!! It's ridiculous. It's also ridiculous how I celebrate weekends and school holidays so I can sleep in!

I hate to be the spoiler here, but our son actually slept and extra hour than he normally does. My husband has been saying for weeks how nice it would be to sleep until 7 and he's had his wish two days in a row (now, how long that will last is the question)!

That's exactly the same with us. For some reason, this past month both of my boys have been sleeping until around 8. Last 2 mornings - up before 7! I can't take another day of it, so I'll be doing some major praying tonight. =)

I have a 7 year old autistic son and he doesn't sleep much as it is. Also he's routine oriented, so he normally get's up around 5:30 or 6 am. So with the time change that means he was up at 4:30 on Sunday morning. Oddly enough, he was up at 3:30 this morning ready to go! Ugh!
