Monday Morning Commentary

We kicked off Code Orange Revival today.  My husband explained how back this summer he got the crazy idea that we should kick off 2012 with a 12 night revival and as he continued to pray about it, he decided to go for it.  And here we are 6 months later.  I am so excited.

The message today was based on Ezekiel 37, when Ezekiel prophesied to the valley of dry bones. Here are a few of my notes from what my husband shared with us The Anatomy of a Move of God requires...
    1.  Desperate situation
         -God can only fill what is empty, He can only heal what is broken
    2.  Unreasonable obedience
        -Faith is believing in advance what will only make sense in revers (Phillip Yancey)
    3.  Bold Preaching
        -Peter's message in Acts 2:14 was bold
    4.  Spirit's Power
        -when the Spirit came through the valley of dry bones, the bones came to life
    5.  Unified Believers
        -when the Church comes together, we are unstoppable!

What a great opportunity we have to hear from God together as we begin the new year!
